so the other day, i got into some trouble. not like law trouble. nothing serious. i'm just being vague about it but trouble nonetheless. it really made me think about how anything can happen at any time in your life. you think you're so prepared for what's going to hit you but you're not. it seriously made me reconsider a lot of choices i've made and i would make in the future. life is so so so short. it just sucks that it takes an event to remind you of that. we should think and act like that every day of our lives.

speechless

this past weekend went to cazzette and butch clancy. cazzette was amazing! super fist pumping the whole time and i was sweating from dancing so hard.

butch clancy, on the other hand. no words. just no words. i was so dumbfounded and speechless after the concert. fucking. amazing. i couldn't even talk straight, haha. that famous youtube dancer "nonstop" was dancing on stage the whole time. he was sick. i guess he and butch are buddies. he was crowdsurfed a couple times and we helped to lift him up. we were up in the front and nonstop kissed suehui on the forehead. butch clancy poured grey goose shots in our mouths and he threw like $300 into the crowd. damn, he is sexy. the girls and i jumped up and raged on stage at one point. seriously, one of the best concerts i've been to! trap concerts are probably my favorite right now.

i find myself smiling more often. i'm a lot more positive and fun-loving. i'm just generally happier than i have been since europe. it's so awesome. i love my family, friends, and life! excited about summer too. i became a finalist to go to this leadership conference in korea. they're giving me a free plane ticket basically so i will probably stay the rest of the summer. i'm really looking forward to a good break from school :)

i love this cover of the classic beatles' song, "blackbird." i've been listening to a lot of jhameel for the past couple months, and i'd forgotten to write this blog post about him. jhameel is an up-and-coming indie artist. check out his music! a few of my fave tracks are "collision," "the human condition," and "love me twice." he's korean but can speak several languages, one of them being arabic! cool, eh? he also gives out his music for free because he believes that digital music should be free. but  you can support him through donations and buying his physical albums. what a cool guy! i'd definitely go to his concert if he came to the east coast. :)
