speechless

this past weekend went to cazzette and butch clancy. cazzette was amazing! super fist pumping the whole time and i was sweating from dancing so hard.

butch clancy, on the other hand. no words. just no words. i was so dumbfounded and speechless after the concert. fucking. amazing. i couldn't even talk straight, haha. that famous youtube dancer "nonstop" was dancing on stage the whole time. he was sick. i guess he and butch are buddies. he was crowdsurfed a couple times and we helped to lift him up. we were up in the front and nonstop kissed suehui on the forehead. butch clancy poured grey goose shots in our mouths and he threw like $300 into the crowd. damn, he is sexy. the girls and i jumped up and raged on stage at one point. seriously, one of the best concerts i've been to! trap concerts are probably my favorite right now.

so wiz's new album, rolling papers, came out yesterday, and wiz kicked off his green carpet tour on the same day. the concert started off with the opener, mac miller, who i am a moderate fanatic of. if you don't have a copy of his best day ever mixtape, stop reading this and acquire it now. anyway, he totally took me by surprise! awesome stage presence and energy! but no one really knew who he was so they weren't as excited as me. bleh. anyway, wiz comes on and i am ridiculously SQUISHED ON ALL SIDES. i thought my heart was going to burst. i couldn't see much but i was slightly let down by his inability to finish whole songs. he'd perform only snippets of his most popular songs, ending with the legendary "black and yellow." i seriously thought i was going to get trampled on during this. plus, i'm almost positive i stepped in the vomit of the girl next to me. other than that, wiz is quite the comical character. i love his light-hearted chuckles and his laughable stage dances. he also brought out young jeezy during his performance of "homicide," which was pretty cool. but that is all. you didn't miss much if you didn't go to the concert, so stop your crying. was i disappointed by this concert? yes. am i still a fan? yes. TGOD!

i have the ultimate girl crush on zooey deschanel. i recently found out that she & him are coming to atlanta botanical gardens in july. i nearly died when i saw that the tickets are sold out and you can only buy the resale ones that are like over a hundred dollars. please shoot me now. ugh. i am planning to go to as many concerts as i can! i'm so excited heeheee. justin bieber (don't judge me), the national, good old war (can someone come with me this monday? it's at masquerade. tickets $10), john mayer and owl city (buying my ticket soon!!! eeek!), the new pornographers, miniature tigers and spinto band (why are these tickets 21&over?! im getting in somehow...), arcade fire in august, matt & kim in october, the xx in october, local natives in october, lady gaga in april, etc. i also wish VERY BADLY that justin nozuka, bruno mars, camera obscura, best coast, and the like would come to atlanta. they are all on my current repeat summer playlist!

i truly believe that music is another language in itself, and they are all so lyrically talented. like i said before, i got maddd respect for people who have a way with words, and all of these artists are ridiculously brilliant. i can't express my gratitude enough for their music. they all really have a God-given gift.
