Variety is the spice of life!

Soooo about my previous post... I didn't mean to scare anybody. But basically, I was taking a nap today and I experienced a phenomenon known as 가위. Those words I couldn't say were something along the lines of "In the name of Jesus, be gone!," the Lord's Prayer, etc. So naturally, I was scared out of my mind and called someone right away when I woke up. I was scared because I realized that I couldn't even defend myself in a spiritual attack. But you know what? I think this made me stronger. It's a sign that I am getting closer to God and the devil is a just a Jealous Janice. So HA HA IN YOUR FACE, DEVIL. B told me to be affirmative next time: "You must know that you are a child of God and defend yourself confidently." I love that feeling. The feeling that God is my Father and that He will protect me no matter what. 100% guaranteed. God's love is so great, yes? Anyway, B took me to get some mango and pomegranate sorbet from Juicy Green right after that incident which made me feel better. Teeheehee :D

YUMMMM-OHSSS~ Look at delicious-looking sweet and tart cloud that just melts in your mouth! I like the Juicy Green on North Highland Avenue because the guy who works there on Tuesdays remembers me and B so he gave us a lot today and punched my card three times! Wahoo! What a cool guy, keke.

I was watching bits and pieces of the most recent episode of Strong Heart today. I love 박가희 from After School. She's the hottest girl out of the ALL of the Korean girl groups. Everyone needs to stop roastin' on her about being old, 'cause I guarantee you that YOU won't look that good at 30, haha. Anyway, on the show she shared her story about her journey to stardom. It got a little emotional and I teared up quite a bit, but after hearing her story, I respect and love her even more. Then WAZAAM! She performed a few dances and jaw drop, foreal. Hottest performance EVAAA~ Deng, she is one gangsta lady!



AND I've been looking at a lot of fashion blogs lately. I MUST SHARE!

Pandora - She is sooooo pretty (kind of looks like IU, yes?). I love her hair. Should I chop up my bangs like this as well? I'm getting sick of this hairstyle that I've had forever. Variety is the spice of life! I need sum o' dat! And I'm totally lovin' the nerdy glasses! I ordered two pairs of frames like these from Korea in light brown and matte black like a month ago. They are coming soon, and I'm going to get new lenses put into them 'cause I need new glasses. My vision is getting worse. T_T

 Styleorectic - OH EM GEE, I'm so obsessed with these shoes and socks in the first picture. The shoes themselves are haute haute haute! But the socks... They totally make the shoes even hauterrrrr! I've been wanting/looking for socks with the lace around the top of the sock for a long long time after I saw a picture of Agyness Deyn totally rockin' them. I want to wear them with white and beige oxfords! And the second picture: 1) I want to make love to those shoes, 2) I want to make love to those tights, 3) Just lovin' this whole look in general. Dang, I've wanted two-tone tights for such a long time, too after I saw a pair of Chanel ones. I die.
NEEDED ITEMS LIST: lacy socks, two-tone tights, thigh-highs, cable white knee socks, bowler hat. :)

Yeah, but I really need to get going 'cause I got me some physics homework to do. Oh how I loathe physics! HMPH! >:(

girl power!

I totally remember back when the Girl Power scene exploded in America. Goodness, I was in elementary school then. Spice Girls, Britney Spears, and Xena - The GP Triumvirate (according to me). I think this movement really influenced me though. Even to this day, I can proudly admit that I am a feminist. Okay, not those crazy B's who set their brassieres to flames, but I am purely an advocate of fair rights and equal opportunity. I take serious offense to discriminatory remarks about women. No, our place is not the kitchen. Don't tell me to look at the oven clock for the time. Not funny, really. Very unnecessary.

Mi madre is also a big source of inspiration. In my eyes, she is the epitome of the independent alpha female. Self-control, patience, ability to understand anyone, hard worker, and leader in any situation. And she's been through some rough times alone. I can't stand being alone. I don't know how she did it. I won't go into details, but my mom is definitely more than worthy of much respect. And plus, she's so cute. Teehee :)

But I started this post because I was watching some performances from the SBS 가요대전 2009 today. And a good bit of girl groups did popular boy group performances. &*$!*&#?%$#@! How cool is that?!?!?!! The Korean music industry has definitely been swamped in the year two-double-oh-nine by girl groups galore. Totally epic. And I absolutely love it! Especially because a lot of the girl groups collaborated! I think it's so hot when we're working together to dominate the males, ya know? It's like these girls used these performances as a declaration of a challenge in the Battle of the Sexes! Ha ha. But don't get me wrong, I love boy groups too! Oh how I love 2PM, Big Bang, and SHINee ♥
